Salmon

is a writer and copy editor who turned geek-coder in 1995. She builds standards-compliant websites using mainly PHP, MySQL, XML, CSS, XHTML. Will do simple Flash animation when pressed. Strongly believes in giving clients the tools to take control of their own site content. Quietly corrects spelling and grammar mistakes when building a site.

Root

consults for web strategy companies based in Tokyo and Sydney. He has published over 100 articles for web-related news sites, magazines, newspapers in Japan, some of which became the book Search Engine Wars, (Aspect Publishing, Tokyo, 2005). He also co-authored 100 SEO/SEM Techniques (Impress Publications, Tokyo, 2006), which is in its fourth printing and has sold over 20,000 copies.
